Mujō is a one Michelin star modern, Edomae-style Sushiya. We are inspired by the Japanese concept of ichi-go ichi-e, 一期一会, or “one time, one meeting.” Every service is a singular moment, never to be repeated, and we approach it with precision and focus.
Our service team is expected to deliver an exceptional omakase experience through attention to detail and refined, professional service. We’re looking for a poised, detail-driven Sommelier that is responsible for assisting with the wine and beverage program development, greeting and welcoming guests, as well as coordinating and overseeing service with the chef team.

Compensation Details
Competitive hourly + tip share, $35-55/hr based on experience
Requirements
Fine dining experience or equivalent professionalism
3+ years in the hospitality industry
Knowledge of sake preferred, but not required
Ability to calculate and control beverage cost
Deep respect for pacing, detail, and teamwork
Wine, sake, and cocktail service knowledge
Ability to read the room and engage guests with warmth and restraint
Composure and humility under pressure

Physical Demands:
Required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces
